Thomas Carey Wicker, Jr. (August 1, 1923 – February 24, 2021), was an attorney in New Orleans, Louisiana. At AlcĂ©e Fortier High School, he played the tuba and performed at the 1939 New York World's Fair. He was a United States Navy veteran of World War II; he served in the unit of Admiral William F. "Bull" Halsey. After the war, he graduated from Tulane University Law School. He was a former judge for Jefferson Parish in the 24th Louisiana District Court and the Louisiana Court of Appeal for the state 5th circuit, a post that he filled until his retirement in 1998. At the time of his death, he was residing in suburban Metairie in Jefferson Parish.. He was a Caucasian and an Episcopalian. His parents were Thomas, Sr., and the former Mary Taylor. He outlived two wives, United States District Judge Veronica DiCarlo Wicker(1930-1994) and Jane Trepagnier Wicker, who died in 2020. He had two children from the first marriage, Thomas Wicker, III, (wife Fredericka) and, Catherine Wicker West (husband Thomas), His step-children are Wendy Frilot Daboval (husband Daniel) and James Maitland Frilot (wife Kim).
