IT IS WITH A SADDEN HEART THAT WE LOST AN ANGEL HERE ON EARTH MONDAY, SEPTEMBER 10, 2012, RUBY MEARS JOHNSON LEFT HER EARTHLY LIFE TO BE WITH HER LORD AND SAVIOR IN HEAVEN. RUBY MEARS JOHNSON was born on Monday, March 18, 1918 in Brazos Point, Texas to Lewis S.& Ethel Hudson Mears. She married the love of her life, Clyde Johnson of Kopperl, Texas on Monday, August 7, 1944. To this union was born three children. Proceeding RUBY in death was her parents, her husband, Clyde, on Friday August 20, 1993, her only son, Otis Johnson on Wednesday, May 19,1971 in an automobile accident. Otis had graduated from college the Sunday afternoon of May 16, 1971 before the accident. One Grandson, Shane Eric Bicknell, twin brother of Shawn. Also 8 Sisters and 6 Brothers. Survivors are daughters, Glenna Rich and husband Michael. Barbara Barnes and husband Kenneth. Five Grandchildren. Stephen Bicknell & wife Natalie, Shawn Bicknell & wife Tawnee, Shelley Stanley & husband J.D. Shana Deans & husband Vince, Kenny Barnes & wife Amber. 12 Great-Grandchildren, Holly, Taylor, Madison, Katie, Lauren, Trevor, Tatum,Trey,Ty, Bryce, Audree, Boston and one Great-GreatGrandson, Liam Bicknell. Many nieces & nephews. One first cousin Frank Mears & wife Irene of Waco. Two sisters-in-law, Louise Mears & Pauline Mears. Special friends Dwayne & Angelita Carlock, Russ Williams & many many more friends and relalatives. Being from the Famous Musical Mears Family. One of Ruby's favorite nephews, Jesse Mears played a couple of Ruby's favorite fiddle tunes. Ruby was loved by all who knew her. She will be deeply missed but we will see you again when we meet in Heaven. Love you Mother.
