Robert A. Henry (born on December 29, 1907) is an American supercentenarian who is possibly the oldest living man in the United States since the death of CP Crawford on November 23 2019.
Robert Henry has lived in Yucaipa, CA since 1950.
Robert Henry He grew up on a corn, wheat, livestock farm in Ohio and came to California in 1928.
He worked first as an auto mechanic. Then, before and during World War II, he worked for Lockheed in Burbank, where he helped build P-38 fighter planes.
'Bob' worked for the De Soto-Plymouth dealership in Redlands; first as a mechanic and eventually as service manager, which was his position until his retirement.
He liked to build “stuff” out of wood, such as tables and more. He also did upholstery work, using a sewing machine.
He enjoyed music, especially band music, and he enjoyed square dancing in his youth and after he was married.
His late wife Irene, who passed away in 1975 at the age of 64 yr, is buried at Desert Lawn Memorial Park in Calimesa, CA. It unknown if Mr. Henry had any children...
