The DOJ has reason to believe defendant JEFFREY TINSLEY is violating the law. MyLife conducts misleading billing practices and violated the Restore Online Shoppers’ Confidence Act. For example, MyLife does not clearly disclose upfront charges, or that consumers’ subscription would automatically renew, and the company makes it difficult for consumers to cancel their subscriptions or obtain a refund. In addition, MyLife misrepresents its refund and cancellation policies in violation of the Telemarketing Sales Rule.

JEFFREY TINSLEY has personal knowledge that MyLife continues to use certain business practices that MyLife agreed to cease in order to settle several lawsuits in California.
