Peggy Ann Morgan Scott was born on 06/10/1946 at the St. Marks Hospital in Salt Lake City, Utah. Peggy was Baptized into the Mormon Church on the 4th of July, 1954 at the age of eight. She earned a Scholastic Scholarship to BYU in 1964 and was chosen to teach on the BYU Internship Program at Parkview Elementary in the Salt Lake City School District the 1967-1968 school year. After waiting two years for Elder Norman B. Scott to complete his two year mission, they were married in the Salt Lake Temple Nov. 22, 1967. They are parents of five children, and grandparents of ten. Peggy taught Private Kindergarten for seven years, served as Inservice Leader "teaching the teachers how to teach" in multiple Wards and Stakes. Peggy was the Primary President in Sandy, Ut. 1973-1974, Stake Music Director in Tucson North Stake 1978-1980, and the Mother Education Teacher in Chandler 7th Ward 1985-1988. Peggy wrote three manuscripts: two mystery romance novels, and a spiritual psychology book for the LDS Church March 15, 1988-1989. Peggy became an Ordained Minister for the Universal Life Church Oct. 29, 2017 and believes we should "only do that which is right": Obey the Ten Commandments and Live the Golden Rule.. The Scotts lived in Chandler, Az. for twenty years, with all five of their children graduating from Chandler High School 1987-1999. Peggy and Norman were transferred by MCI to EDS in Winchester, Ky. in the Spring of 2000, and retired on January 1, 2013 from Tempurpedic International completely out of debt after working and living twelve years in Kentucky. For the past nine years they have lived in Prescott Golf and Country Club Estates to be closer to our five children, ten grandchildren, and Norm's siblings and their families in Arizona. The Scott's political affiliation since 2000 and Al Gore's focus on "Global Warming" is Democtrat, and ethnicity is Caucasian with Norm being 1/16th Cherokee and Native American.
