We regret to say that Mildred Meyer passed away on 07/03/2002 and was 86 at the time. Spring, TX, is where Mildred Meyer had lived. Other names that Mildred had previously used included Mildred Inez Meyer and Mildred I Meyer. Mildred had many family members and associates who included Carlos Depippo, Leona Randall, Betty Wall, Clovis Riley and Janice Scott. Mildred had 4 children with one of the children deceased at 9 years of age a drowning, one older son Charles Meyers deceased at age 61years heart attack, a daughter 71 years of age Ina Lou Davis Moore deceased a stroke. One daughter is living at age 72 years old & lives in Alvin Texas with her Autistic Grandson now 21 years of age whom she has adopted & raised him as her son since he was an infant, as his birth mother Casey Colleen & Donna's youngest child was 38 years of age at time of her death ,Tyler Holsenback is his name Donna Kathleen Holsenback is living daughters name she is in good health maintains her 2 story home in Alvin single as husband has mental & alcohol problems & has abandoned both Donna & Tyler many times at this present time Douglas Holsenback is diagnosed with Dementia & Alzheimer's disease.
Since August 2019 Douglas is at present gone again. .No communication from Douglas & is considered High Risk for himself as well as his family Donna & Tyler. God Blesses the family a very large spread out family Mildred has many Grandchildren & Great Grandchildren. Grandson lives in Oklahoma with wife & 4 of 5 sons, Grandson lives in Florida with his two grown children. Grandaughter lives in Florida with husband & one daughter, both of her two grown sons are married & have families.
Mildred was a hard working dedicated retail & employment service employee whom loved the public & had many many friends most from Gulfport Miss. Mildred was voted Mardi Gras Queen in the 70's & well known on the Mississippi Gulfport Coast. Mildred's life was dedicated to work .She never met a stranger always putting work ahead of family & friends. Foley's downtown Houston Mildred worked there fairly young then moved on to employment at Sakowitz downtown Houston Bridal Department, & finally at Neiman Marcus downtown Houston. Once moved to the Gulf Coast she became employed with Snelling & Snelling employment agency placing people qualified in the job market. Mildred owned a beautiful home there in Gulfport but Mildred sold that home & property she moved back home to Texas. Came out of retirement to work for a Food Sample company someone by the name of Dawanda hired Mildred thus kick starting a second go round employed yet again. Mildred was a people person ALL of her entire life this was her JOY. Mildred's health took a turn for the worst & Diabetes finally took her life, she was in denial concerning the disease & it made life tough for the first time in her life, she simply would not accept it. They just don't exist any more people like Mildred strong willed determined lovely hard working always giving of herself to any one who'd give her even a slight little second, she would turn something around and the magic began, if you were close enough you could watch those Irish Blue Eyes Dancing !!   Full Summary
