I am proud of who I am, what I have been able to accomplish. I am a animal activist and have saved many dogs and cats. I am proud of my abilities since I have several disabilities. When ever I do any thing I always give it a "personal touch" to make something the best it can be, to make some one else's life easier, to be the best I can be always striving for excellent and superior results. I do not give up easily. I have this artistic and mechanical aptitude and I use my work history experience skills to be able to either create something new, or improve on something or make things work better. I am proud that I do not look upon life with a negative view, but a positive one. I am also proud that I seek to make this a beautiful place in life. I am proud that I have a clean life record. I am proud to be a Vietnam Veteran with 6 ribbons/medals for approximately 15 years in the military. Since I live in Minnesota, I have learned how to do many things at home. I recently built a small building, installed electrical wiring for lights and plugins, then turned it into a entertainment room. I also converted a downstairs garage into a entertainment room. When I moved into this home, I had to build/assemble all the end tables, kitchen chairs, fire place stereo tv stand, the night stands, office desks, office book shelves, installed a double bar shelf system in all the closets, installed motion detector lights for security purposes on all the buildings, I created a 4 foot high by 41 feet long, by 3 foot wide storage shelf in the pole barn, I also repainted all the buildings so that they now color match, I just recently repainted all the decks here, I also installed a chain link rectangle fence in the west part of the property that is 15 feet by about 100 feet long, by 6 foot high, I have created several hiking trails around the property, I have planted a lot of trees, bushes, etc here also, I have also had to cut down 4 dead trees in the back yard, I had to also clean up trash, trees, lumber, building materials etc that the previous owner left here, of which there were 3 piles of it, over 10 feet high. I have installed flooring in the basement in different rooms, I installed a double utility sink in the furnace room, then built walls in the same room, I also added paneling to walls in another room that were left unfinished, I also converted a underneath the steps storage area into a mini house shop with hand tools etc. I learned how to use a welder and made repairs on a riding lawn mower. I learned how to take out a hard drive out of a computer reinstall it and make it work again. I recently learned how to use windows 10 software. I am proud of the fact that I have taught myself how to draw, down load computer software and taught myself photography and how to download things on a computer, also using a lot of different desk top publishing programs. I am also proud of being able to tame 2 ferrow cats and save other ones also. I have also had to assemble snow blowers with out going to school for it. I am proud that I also run a household. I have to buy the groceries, supplies, do the finances, etc. I am proud that I have learned some carpentry skills that I have been able to make a lot of home improvements with and have built 15 beanie baby cabinets that have lasted all these years, also had to build wood dog kennels that have lasted several years. They are strong, well built. To a certain degree, there are some things that I have been able to trouble shoot and either fix or repair things. I am also an artist. I can type about 40 to 50 wpm. I am also the cook here most of the time, and I can also wash clothes. I also take care of a lot of animals. I am also proud of my heritage and where I came from. I also had to install all the phone lines, Ethernet cables, and in some rooms of this home, electrical for lights, etc. I am proud of the fact that I had to move 6 semi loads from another state to here, of house hold goods , furniture, appliances, supplies, pets, vehicles, a boat, motorcyle, etc. all by myself. I also created a trailer using the parts of a deer stand. Probably is the only one in existence. I am proud that I also donated approximately 10 tons of various things to charities when I moved. I am proud of the fact that I do not drink or smoke and have no tattoos. I am very proud that I got rid of all the negativity in my life that was draining me. I am very proud to be a Christian.

I do not know or have ever heard of a Kathleen Mortenson, a Ellyn Mortenson or a Adam Mortenson. I am not related to these people or have any connection with them. There is also another Michael Mortenson that lives on the other side of Wisconsin in Kenosha, and is related to a Ellyn Mortenson. This is not me. I have never lived in that part of Wisconsin which is very close to the state of Michigan.

I also have NOT committed any crimes or have I ever threatened anyone where I have lived or at any place of work. The Michael Mortenson that lives in Wisconsin near the Michigan border does in fact have a bad history,. Please do not associate me with this person, or any of his relatives, etc. If you question the difference then please check our social security numbers and then you will see that we are totally two different people with the same names. This person that lives in that part of Wisconsin has several derogatory reports filed on him. I do not have these reports filed on me any where. I hired a private detective to find out why I was get derogatory reports filed against me and its because people are relating me to this Michael Mortenson that lives in Kenosha, Wisconsin. I have never lived there, have never been there, don't even know where its located. I guess you can find it on a map. Once again, please check our social security numbers and you will see there is a big difference between that person who has multiple derogatory reports on him. I, myself on the other hand, have a very clean record. Please do not identify me with these people from Kenosha WI. They are not what you call up standing citizens, but I am. I have worked very hard all my life and have NOT committed any assaults, crimes, misdemeanors, felonies, etc. My record is a clean one.

I have been the victim of some serious physical assaults by different psychopaths. in 1967, Chuck Quinn from the United States Navy, assaulted me in San Diego, when I walked into the barracks to go get some thing to eat, he hit me in the jaw, doing an upper cut and broke my jaw and I passed out. I have suffered this brain and jaw injury till this present date. Another assault was from another Navy person while I was stationed in Bremerton, Washington in the Naval barracks that was located right in the middle of their junk yard. This person came in drunk into my room and commenced to starting hitting me in the head while I was sleeping. His reason: He wanted me to hand him a hundred dollars of which I did not have. Another Navy psychopath person, a third class petty officer, named TERRY BALANCE, who lives in North Carolina, just after we came back from a tour from over seas on a ship, who attacked me for no reason, in the engine room control room with a red medal wrench when I was on duty, causing me to suffer TBI, cognitive faculty and memory problems, as well as a permanent injured back. He had been causing fights with many other Navy personnel and one time while we were stationed in Hawaii he broke into my car and stole all my tools. He also stole tools from many yard workers. He then threatened to kill my wife and I, and I had to take emergency measures and leave and move her back to Minnesota from Hawaii, where she would be safe. I left the Navy and have 6 medals/ribbons. 1. Defense medal, 2. Engineering E ribbon, 3 .Vietnam Campaign medal, 4. Vietnam Service medal with 3 stars, 5. the Gallantry cross medal, 6 .Navy meritorious medal. My period of Navy service was from 1967, to 1979. I am also a victim of agent orange and have a muscle ring in my throat from it, of which I almost died from and was operated on in a hospital in St. Paul, Minnesota, where the doctor popped the ring so that I would no longer choke on food, etc.
As you can see, (this is just the tip of the iceberg of what I have been through), and yes I am proud of who I am and what I have become since then. Oh, I forgot to mention that during my Navy tour in the Philippines, I lost my first wife there.
