Luke Joshua Letlow (December 6, 1979 to December 29, 2000) was the Republican Representative-elect for Louisiana's 5th congressional district. He died a few days before he could have been sworn into office on January 3, 2001. His widow, the former Julia Janelle Barnhill, handily won the special election to fill the seat on March 20, 2021. Prior to his congressional race, he was chief of staff to the previous Representative, Ralph Abraham, who did not seek a fourth term in 2020. He was a Caucasian and an Evangelical Presbyterian.
