In San Diego he attended National University.He is mostly known for his work with Dr. Maulana Karenga who created the "Seven Principals/Nguzo Saba", the "Kawaida Philosophy" and"Kwanzaa" 1965 thru 1976.including but not limited to the 1st, 2nd & 3rd "National Conferences on Black Power", 1966 at Washington DC, 1967 at Newark, New Jersey & 1968.at Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The 1970 "Congress of African Peoples" at Atlanta, Georgia and the first "National Black Political Convention" since Reconstruction 1972 at Gary, Indiana. Since 1964 thru this day he has worked in hundreds of Political Campaigns in the Western States & the east Coast. Ken is also known for his work with Cesar Chavez who sponsored him, Fahari Jeffers, Greg Akili & Raquel Beltran in founding and building the United Domestic Workers of America which is the 1st. Domestic Workers Union in American Labor History. from August 1977 thru June 2005.Ken later worked in the Building Trades for the Laborer's Local 89 and Sheet Metal Local 206 from June 2008 thru May 2019. He was the Lead Organizer for 10.2 Billion Dollars of construction work done under a PLA, Project Labor Agreement. He is currently the President of the Cesar Chavez Service Clubs. Full Summary
