James Chapman was born on 01/07/1978 and is 42 years old. James Chapman was born into poverty with a teenage mother and struggled with poverty that would prevent him from having running water, electricity and guidance. His mother worked multiple jobs to provide but was also struggling with being a kid herself and raising a man. At the age of 12 James began to excel in sports such as boxing, kickboxing and football. He was considered one of the hardest working person people knew and although he lived in one of the wealthiest areas of the Silicon Valley, he hid is need for local churches and donation centers to get by each week. At 13 he began working in construction and bagging groceries while going to school and playing sports. James earned scholarships and accolades in High School and College in football while also competing in Golden Gloves and K-1 professional Kickboxing. At the age of 23 James married the love of his life and found himself walking away from professional football dreams and began life with his wife Ginny Chapman. James began volunteering at his local church and soon became a key teaching member. By the age of 27 James was working as a fulltime pastor and general contractor. James has two children and is going on 20yrs of marriage. His daughter is 15 and son 12. In 2014 James and Ginny were robbed while on vacation and came home to what they appeared was there normal house. Within months they found money was missing from accounts and so was their personal documents. After filing a bank report for theft they learned that their business accounts and children's social security numbers were used to defraud and take out loans. Within a year of the first suspected incident James and Ginny were almost bankrupt from over $177,000 in theft and loans were stacking up against them. James began working with the local government and police officials and although two years of hard fought effort was done they were encouraged to change their social security numbers through the U.S. government. Many illegal activities continued through the use of James and Ginny's information. Bank loans in other states and car loans continued until almost four years later. James and Ginny have tried to reverse the personal damages caused from this theft of person but have not had much luck. At this time James is still refuting loans and late charges dating back from 2015. It is of great importance to find a way to protect people from this type of predator. It goes from local theft to international gang and mob ties. "At one time we were afraid for our families safety and security. This ordeal caused so much pain for my family and no matter how much I tried to fix and protect my family I still feel I could of done better. I will never forgive myself for not catching this sooner." " 7 on Your Side, 2017 excerpt from SJMercury News Article ) Full Summary
