Doug responded to many federally declaired disasters including Big Thompson Canyon Flood, World Youth Day @ Cherry Creek State Park which involved several tgousand medical incidents and was attended be multiple Heads of State as well as the President, Silver Plum Rescue and Aircraft Crash, Columbine High School Active Shooter and later visit by the Vice President. he also was deaply involved at the Arapahoe High School Shooting, Electron Corp. 6 Alarm Fire/Haz Mat incident, Wolhurst Country Club 5 Alarm Fire, Englewoods multi-alarm K-Mart Fire,, the response to the Limon Tornado Disaster, Breckenridge Peak 8 Avalanche and recoverys, the Trimble, Deer Creek and Buffalo Creek Forest Fires, and the a key planner for handling the Democratic National Convention in Denver. as well as serving on the regional task force response to the National Eboli outbreak as well as the regional planning for Y2K and the planning for planning for Tge World Economic Summit of Eight in Denver and attended by World Leaders and Diplomats. Doug has been recognized by several County sheriff’s, County Commissioners and Local, County, State and Federal Emergency Managment officials for his Incident Managment and Incident Communications skills.
