President Bush was our 43rd president elected to two terms of office. President Bush was the son of our 41st President George H.W. Bush. Some people say the first election in 2000 was stolen because the Florida state vote was not allowed to be recounted. (we will never know). Once again a problem where the Democrat received the popular vote majority of the country and the Republican gets in by way of an outdated constitutional relic, the electoral college. President Bush left office the most unpopular president in Polled history. One poll showed him with only a 23% approval rating. President bush pushed this country into an unneeded war in Iraq over the Idea that there was WMD in Iraq. No WMD was ever found and we spent over 2 trillion dollars on war because of him. And how many wounded, and dead men I don't know, because one war is still ongoing after all these years, and the Iraq war was ended in the Obama term of office. Just think if that money had been spent on Medicare for all instead of war. Or free college tuition. President Bush, for what ever the excuse allowed Osama Bin Laden to escape into Pakistan, and it took Barack Obama to find him. President Bush and his-idiot VP approved of breaking international law, and torturing prisoners. I guess that's what you get taught to you when you are a couple of skull and bones men from Yale. President Bush collapsed the economy in his last year in office. The world almost sank into a depression. It was the start of the worst-recession. Bush allowed the importing of assault rifles again, a very-bad move.It was a very depressing number of years for most Americans. America has forgotten all about this president. Republicans don't like to mention his name. Bush should not have gotten a second term in office. A president Kerry would have been so much better most people believe. Today President Bush leads a quiet life, and does maintain a healthy good sense of humor, and has very friendly relations with the other former presidents   Full Summary
