My husband, Hughen Hamish Edgar Nourse ("Hugh") and I have been married for 57 years. During Hugh's working years, we saved part of every paycheck for our retirement years. Our house is fully paid for, and so are our two old cars. But they both work well. We take pride in paying all our bills on time. My salary paid for our daughter's college education. We are very proud of our daughter, Jennifer Anne Nourse Bell, and our son-in-law, Major Charles A. Bell, USMC (ret.). We have two wonderful grandchildren: Special Agent Michael J. Bell, who works for the U.S. Capitol Police Force, in the dignitary protection service; and granddaughter Abby Bell, who is a freshman at Sweet Briar College in Virginia. She has been accepted on the Sweet Briar riding team. Our grandson, Michael, just got married on Nov. 3, 2018 to Miss Alexis Montalvo. We are proud to have her in the family now.
My hobbies include genealogy research, and reading. I used to love horseback riding, but have had only a few rides since our horse died in 1990. I still miss riding and that beloved horse, "Rippy." I am a proud member of the General James Moore Chapter of DAR. Full Summary
