Clark S. Judge was born in 1948 in Louisville, Kentucky. He currently lives in Washington, DC . He graduated from Greenwich High School (Class of 1966) in Greenwich, Connecticut. He received a BA (history, honors) from Indiana University (Class of 1972) in Bloomington, Indiana, and an MBA from Harvard Business School (Class of 1974). Following his Harvard graduation, he served for a year as a research assistant writing case studies on labor relations before moving to New York City. In Fall 1982, after six years as a business consultant and writer in New York, he moved to Washington to join the Reagan Administration. A series of assignments followed, culminating in his appointments as Speechwriter and Special Assistant to the President. During these years he married Margaret Relin of New York City, and they had a son, Benjamin, now of Irvine, California. In 1989, Clark returned to working as a business consultant and writer, first independently, then beginning in 1993 as managing director of the White House Writers Group, Inc., a communications consulting firm that has had clients throughout the U.S. and in Europe, Asia, and Latin America. He is also chairman of the Pacific Research Institute in San Francisco and The Anglosphere Society in New York City. Mr. Judge writes primarily on politics, economics, and foreign policy.
