About My Personal Life I was married in 1996 to Phillip Pettis (from
Sedalia). After getting a Master's in Theatre
from CMSU I worked for a time in a Theatre in
Kansas City and then started teaching at Paseo
Academy of Fine and Performing Arts. After I was
married we moved to Columbia where I taught 7th
grade Creative Dramatics. My daughter,
Elisabeth, was born in 1998. She was
actually born just two weeks before our last
reunion
which is why I wasn't there! I then went into
semi-
retirement from my teaching career to be a stay
at home
mom. My son, Joseph was born in October of
2000. We
live in Johnson County, KS and my husband is the
Principal Engineer of Data Center Engineering for
Sprint. Love to hear from fellow burgites!
