what was the most beautiful thing you've ever seen? The most beautiful thing I have ever seen was Avon Colorado in the fall. We were moving from San Diego to Indiana in 1992 and traveled through that area. The colors were so beautiful! Growing up in So CA I had never experienced such vivid colors on trees or witnessed the changing of the leaves. Also, I had never seen a 'christmas tree' growing in the ground til then. They were always nailed to wood when we bought them in the lots to bring home and decorate. Now that I live in Indiana and experience the changing of the leaves each fall I see it as a masterpiece that God creates for me each year. My special gift from Him, but I will share it with you! ;)

About My Personal Life I graduated from Duke in May 2000 and worked for several months at Sacred Heart University in Connecticut. Softened by my years at school in the South, I was unable to handle the harsh New England winter. I fled, screaming, to South Carolina, where I got a job as a sports information person at Wofford College. After a year, I met my husband (though at the time I thought he was just a cute, if sadly UNC-biased, local sports writer). Eventually he popped the question. We got married in May of '05, and shortly thereafter moved to Kansas so he could go to law school. I'm working at Sprint in Kansas City and he's stressing over the trauma of being a One-L. We have a home, or half of one, anyway, and a dog. No 2.5 kids, no white picket fence, and no neighbors within about a half block (it's a new development).
